How can I get housing modifications? If you need modifications to help you live safely in your home, ACC may be able to help.

Your ACC case owner will refer you to an assessment service.

An occupational therapist assesses your injury-related needs and will send a report to the ACC case owner.

The ACC case owner will make a referral to Accessable to design a plan.

The complexity of the request will determine which process will be followed.

Your assessor will review the modifications with you to ensure they are meeting your needs.
