Jonathan

Team Leader

Jonathan is the Accessable Professional Advisory team leader and has been with Accessable for over 10 years.

Jonathan is an active practitioner in acute settings such as intensive care, respiratory and surgical care. He brings almost 25 years of physiotherapy (PT) practice to his role including 14 years at the regional spinal unit and ten years as the Section Head PT.

He is also a competence reviewer and recertification auditor for the NZ Physiotherapy Board.

 

 

Amy

Professional Advisor

Amy has been with Accessable for over six years, having come from adult community with inpatient, acute and rehab experience.

As an OT working in our advisory team, Amy has found the varied scope of practice in her community experience invaluable as she works with assessors to find the best solutions for their clients' long term, complex equipment needs

 

Anneli

Professional Advisor

Anneli's main focus area is supporting assessors with funding requests for housing modifications.

Prior to joining Accessable, Anneli worked as an OT, both in New Zealand and overseas, with a keen interest in both hand therapy/burns and wheelchairs and seating.

Having been with Accessable for 16 years, she is an expert in eligibility and criteria.

Cara

Professional Advisor

Cara has been with Accessable for 18 years, coming from adult physical health. inpatient and community.

Over her time with Accessable, she has become an expert in all things EMS - equipment, housing and vehicle modifications, with vast knowledge of eligibility and criteria.

Jann

Professional Advisor

Being with Accessable for nine years, Jann has extensive experience in the provision of specialised wheelchair seating and positioning and is one of Accessable’s ACCESS Clinic specialists.

She has a strong interest in paediatrics and 24 hour postural management/sleeping positioning and brings a wealth of experience to her role.

 

 

Lucy 

Professional Advisor

Before coming to Accessable over 10 years ago, Lucy spent time as a Community OT in the UK, carrying out assessments for both equipment and housing modifications.

She has a particular interest in housing, and the challenges that the home environment poses for clients with complex disability needs. In addition to working with EMS assessors, Lucy also works as an advisor in the Accessable ACC housing team.

Sarah

Professional Advisor

Sarah works across all of EMS supporting assessors in equipment, housing and vehicle modifications and purchase.

Prior to her 10 years with Accessable, Sarah worked with Te Whatu Ora as a community OT working with adults in their homes, and as an OT in community mental health services.

As with all our advisors, Sarah is an expert in funding eligibility and criteria.
