Accessable MoH EMS Monthly Budget Position Update: March 2019

Demand for the MoH EMS budget continues to exceed the allocated budget and the driver for the overspend continues to relate to Band 2/3 equipment. You can see in the graph below that to the end of February 2019 (8 months through the budget year) we are 6.4% [$1,090,947] overspent. There has been a positive downwards trend and we appreciate the efforts made, thank you. We are not there yet - in order to get to the Target Budget, ie zero by 30 June 2019 more savings need to be made. Accessable will update the below graph on a monthly basis so you can see how we are tracking.

How can you make a difference to the budget – ensure eligibility and essential need are met and check all quotes and costs carefully. Savings on Service Requests make a real difference when they are added together across all Service Requests received.
